The word Muggle has been very popular ever since J K Rowling wrote the infamous “Harry Potter” series. Today, if you ask someone as to what is a muggles, they may even laugh at you, and explain that anyone who has no knowledge of casting magical spells is referred to as a muggle.

In a similar fasion, anyone who is not quite interested in geocaching or who gets accidentally involved with the same may discover some of the details that can be of great help to a full time geocacher.
Geocaching can be a great fun, especially for the kids, but a muggle who’s a spoilsport in life, may ruin the excitement of an interesting geocache puzzle for sure.
Without knowing the importance of a geocache, a muggle may even unintentionally destroy it; such an act is often referred to as “geocache muggling”.

Just because of the reasons that you point out, we purposely bypass “stealth required” caches so that a muggle doesn’t stumble upon a cache. Having lost travel bugs before, I can totally sympathize with a geocacher that has his cache muggled.
