It’s great news for those who are in need of a hard disk drive that has high storage capacity. Toshiba has officially announced the release of its new 640 Giga Bytes hard disk.
The new Toshiba 640 GB hard disk is of 2.5 inches length, where it is even smaller in comparison the current hard disk drives.
The new hard disk is developed based on the three GB interface and it has the spindle speed of 5400 rpm.
The 2.5 inches 640 GB hard disk drive is also outfitted with 8 Mega Bytes buffer capacity.
The Toshiba hard drives are available in the storage capacities of 160 GB, 250 GB, 320 GB, 500 GB and 640 GB sizes.
Currently there’s no update on its pricing and availability and apparently Toshiba is keen to roll them out by the end of this month, and updates will be made available pretty soon.
