Generally all the Windows applications used by the user are not of utmost importance and moreover they are bound to take some memory. Consequently, sometimes you may run out of memory, and it’s better to get rid of such useless Windows applications that don’t perform any important functionality, and simply eat up your CPU resources, and memory!
Going to the basics of the Windows Operating system, it is an operating system which has many objects in it and all of them work together to make it a complete system. Each of them is required for specific functions, and is termed as service or application. Whenever required these applications are used and they run in the back.
Here are some of the utterly useless functionalities of windows operating system from the point of user’s practical usage
Performance Logs and Alerts
This is a kind of application whose duty is collection of data based on performance from local or remote computers. Some parameters have been scheduled from before. Based on that, this collection is done and alert is sent!
If at all you need the report on performance of your machines, trust me there are more better and effective ways of doing so. This is of no use to the home users. So it is intelligent to disable it.
Security Center
It is one of the applications that look after your configurations and security settings of your system.
Whenever your updates are off or antivirus has expired, this feature alerts you that a particular thing is not secured. Many people find it important but actually it is just a monitoring application. It does not give any security!!
