It is pretty much similar to the design of the earlier wide-screen Nuvi models. The traffic antenna of Garmin 765T also has a FM antenna integrated with it to receive the traffic data, but the Garmin Garmin 765T‘s system cannot receive the traffic updates without the power cable connected.
And, another bad news is that without the dock, the power cable cannot be connected too!

You have got to be kidding? I got a refurbished unit and you can not see the screen in daylight in a convertible.

Well i don’t know if there’s anything wrong with the refurbished ones… i don’t have any probs viewing the new ones even in bright sunlight
