Apple has been imposed a fine of 900,000-euro ($1.2 million) by anti-trust authority of Italy for misleading its consumers on guarantees and assistance services for its products.

This US tech giant has provided indistinct details on payments for extra assistance given to consumers. The company had also not fully implemented the 2-years guarantee given by its producer.

An investigation was launched by the European antitrust officials previously this month to check if Apple and 5 international publishers hit illegal deals to decide the price of e-books in Europe.

Apple has been under immense pressure due to a global battle with Samsung, the South Korean electronics giant, which accused that the US giant has infringed 4 of its iPhone patents… We’ll have to wait and watch how Apple takes out its frustration in a form of counter-lawsuit over next few days!
